Tihar Festival
Tihar Festival
Tihar (Nepali: तिहार) is a five-day-long Nepali festival celebrated in Nepal and the Nepali people of Indian states of Sikkim including in Darjeeling district of West Bengal. It is the festival of lights, as diyas are lit inside and outside the houses to make it illuminate at night.Tihar also known as Deepawali is a Hindu festival.
As we all know that Tihar is a Festival of Lights,Candel, etc. I celebrate Dipawali by doing puja, playing dausi Bhailo, and putting Tika to brother. In laxmi puja I help to my mom. And in bhai tika I put tikka from brother.I enjoy bhai tika by putting tika to my brother.I go dausi bhailo with 9 friends. We earn money. We are planning to go picnic with those money.

We also dance in dausi bhai lo. We sang a lot. So in this way I celebrate my tihar.
